Across Spain’s partridge country, the terrain shifts from olive groves to rocky hills with red-tinted horizons—only a short flight away from Britain, yet markedly different in character. With its warmer climate, the Spanish calendar becomes a natural extension of the UK season.

Over the years we have built strong relationships with a range of Spanish estates, and represent only those select few who consistently meet our standards; ones that have their own rhythm, their own way a drive unfolds.

With WL Sporting, planning is deliberately low-friction. We suggest flights, arrange private ground transportation, and secure full-board accommodation that aligns with the tempo of the days.

Field requirements are prepared in advance. We arrange shotguns and ammunition, line up loaders and secretarios, and bring in instructors if so desired. Permits and insurances are organised as part of the process, so compliance is handled alongside comfort.

As always with WL Sporting, formats remain flexible. Full teams, part teams, and individual guns are all accommodated, and sharing a peg with a fellow gun or partner is welcomed where it enhances the day. That flexibility extends to how parties are combined; we look for the fit that preserves pace and atmosphere.

For the duration of the trip there will be a WL Sporting representative present. The role is practical: oversee the flow, answer questions, and keep logistics quiet enough to fade into the background. It creates space for what matters—the shooting, the company, the food, and the steady cadence of a well-run day.

And for those who wish to take their shooting to the next level, or simply hone in on those finer details alongside a true master, we offer the additional service of some of the leading shooting instructors in the world—a team comprised of founder Willie Cole and his protégés.

Note that full-board accommodation, cartridges, hunting licence, and insurance are part of the published trip price. Estate-level nuances exist—as they should—and are set out clearly in advance so expectations and arrangements line up from the outset.

Guest policies vary by estate. On some, one non-shooting guest per gun is included; on others, guests are welcomed at an additional cost. We flag the distinction early so companions can be planned in with the same care as everything else.
